We are Erasing The Monument. Two guys from QLD who love to make whatever the hell kinda music we want. This project was born out of the love to create and our passion for metal has kept us together since our inception in ().

Our first LP 'Eternal Spite' was written in drips and drabs throughout one of, if not the lowest, period of my life. The instrumentals were all laid with no plans for vocals, when Peter and I introduced to each other by a mutual friend. 

Without ever meeting, Pete came over to my home studio and recorded vocals to what would be the first track 'Falling Out'. Pete had hundreds (maybe even thousands) of notes filled with lyrics and was emotionally tied to all of them. They were a representation of what he was feeling in a particular moment, and when I explained the vibe of the album, he was immediately locked in. 

Never having heard his vocals, I was unaware I was about to witness true beauty, 'a mixture of Fergie and Jesus'. After the first session, Erasing The Monument was born. 

We would go on to release 'Eternal Spite' and shortly after our first single 'Sinister'. We have an incredible amount of music in the bank in a vast array of genres, and it will all be revealed in time. 

We want to create music that people can relate to, and we want people to feel what we felt when we were making these songs. So if you spin one of our tracks, we appreciate it more than anything.
